The Shady Ladies

The Shady Ladies have been a collaborative project with Tink Boord-Dill. Tink designed the Painted Canvases and I've been designing the Stitch Guides.  The Red and Green Lady (White Christmas) won FIRST PLACE at the 2000 American Needlepoint Guild National Seminar. Check lower on this page for pictures and information! As you may remember, I grabbed this one out of Tink's hands at an ANG Chapter Meeting. I was so excited about her, I finished her in three weeks! The Purple Lady (Proud Mary) won Second Place at the 2000 American Needlepoint Guild National Seminar. She is NOW Available with Pictures and Information lower on this page. The very talented Debby Powell Frankln did the Stitch Guide for this colorful coleen. The Pink Lady (Stop in the Name of Love) won 2nd Place at the 1998 American Needlepoint Guild National Seminar. The Teal Lady (Unforgettable) won 3rd Place at the 1999 American Needlepoint Guild National Seminar. The Stitch Guides provide complete instructions for creating your own Shady Lady, identical to the original. We sell the Shady Ladies 2 different ways: 1)Purchase just the Painted Canvas, which comes with the Stitch Guide included in the Price. 2)Purchase the Painted Canvas and the Stitch Guide with all of the Threads and Embellishments needed, including Stretcher Bars. If you wish, we can also mount the canvas on the Stretcher Bars and ship her ready to start stitching. We also have listed any Gadget used, so you can be sure you have or can get everything needed! Stitch Guides not only provide an opportunity to re-create a Design you love, they can provide an excellent learning situation to advance your stitching skills.
